I tried this like a year ago and I really didn't like it, mainly because of how it handles PS1 games, but after compressing my PS1 roms to CHD format it's honestly way better. It's still not perfect, like sometimes it will think an NES game is for the c64, but it has a lot of great community made themes and is pretty easy to set up.

I love Dig! I have used a couple of other frontends on my Shield TV and they are okay. Buggy somewhat but they still get the job done. I installed the main one I use on Android TV on my new phone and it performed badly. I couldn't scroll down to the bottom of the list before it would take me to the top. The settings button is located at the bottom so once I (assume) overloaded it with a few hundred roms I could never get back down to fix anything. I then tried another frontend that I had used in the past and it failed to even recognize any roms. Then I found Dig. First impressions were not all that good. I thought the icon was dumb looking, it didn't have a cool name and the screenshots looked kind of bad. I was so wrong. First of all, the icon is pretty great once you get to the main menu. It instantly brought a smile to my face when I opened the app. I don't know if Dig stand for anything but turns out it's a cooler name than the other frontends I've used. I was happy to find the customization options with the UI. The scrapper is legit too! I've got more to say but running out of space. Dig is dead simple to set up. Thank you Dig Games! Awesome work!

Overall this is a fantastic frontend. My main complaint is how it handles Android games. I understand that they are handled differently than the emulated games, but it would be nice to be able to have different android sections like to separating streaming services from games, have system tools separated etc. The only workaround I found was to add these sections as collections and access them there, but I can't add those to the system menu. I'm hopeful that an update will address this.

I use this app as the frontend on my gpd xd plus, and its extremely easy to use and set up, makes using retroarch almost enjoyable and takes all the work out of the experience. Can be configured a number of ways and sets each game up with a box shot for simple browsing by system, genre, or just as an alphabetical list. Brilliant.

App will not scan for roms even where SAF access has been given. When i select to "Scan system for Roms" in the options menu, the app crashes. I spent months fixing up games, covers and descriptions..... Now i cant even access the games. Im deleting this app and going back to retroarch. Best of luck

Great Interface. Little hard to figure out at first but once you get a theme installed it works great. Love the options of being able to change emulators and set it up like a True all in one system on your phone. I paid for it and do not regret it at all. Awesome job keep it up.

Has an issue with not saving or loading retroarch config despite choosing the option in the settings as seen in various help forums - select/start combo hotkey for exiting retroarch on my handheld would not save so could not fully disable overlays or I would be stuck in retroarch. Had to go back to another front-end where the config saves properly. Apart from this, I like it, but this issue makes it unusable for me.

Apparently the only reasonably priced emulator front-end. The setup couldnt be simpler. It's kind of bare bones in terms of UI, but the functionality is there. I haven't done the IAP yet, but as I said its reasonable (£3.50), so I'm sure i will. Edit* changed reviews to 5 stars. Dig is the best.

This (is) was a nice, free, little emulator utility app that let's you access and run old emulator versions that have yet to update to the latest Android change which inhibits the apps' access to the SD storage. It helps you organize your roms and isos library, so even if you have no permission issues with your favorite emulators, this is still a very handy, convenient, and effective tool to have for any mobile emulator enthusiasts...... HOWEVER, the latest update had been a disaster for me so far . Some emulators which used to run with this tool are currently failing to show. The update also ruined my box art collection which I painstakingly downloaded one-by-one. Sigh, what a mess, I can't help but to give it a 3 stars for now. I will upgrade it to 5 stars once the issues with certain emulators that I'm using are resolve and I manage to recover and reorganize my library back to what it is used to be which I don't feel like doing anytime soon. Easily 5 stars, though if the personal issues I mentioned are unrelatable to you.
