There are now ads that autoinstall other apps on your phone! They look like interactive/minigame ads, but touching ANYTHING - the close button, trying to pull up the phone navigation bar to exit WS - will trigger these apps to start installing. Sometimes you can cancel w/i 1 second, other times there is no cancel so you have to remove these malicious installations later. Previous review responses blame the ad platform, but maybe they should have more diligence in choosing marketing partners.

I used to enjoy this app. However, their ads have destroyed it. Some ads won't even close, they are designed to annoy and force you to close the app to get rid of the add. Some ads are designed to open when you try to close them. Even if you hit the x it still opens. It is frustrating when it offers free coin but fails to deliver or the ads aren't available. How the hell is an add not available. Despite assurances from developers ads are becoming deceptively worse

Fun game, but has an unfortunate and annoying bug. When I watch a video during a game 'for a bonus gift', it plays a video, tells me I got 4x spelling bees, then never gives them to me. This has happened repeatedly. Please fix the app, or at least remove the option since it's literally just playing a commercial for no reward.

Love the game. I do have 2 complaints.... 1) There's WAY TOO MANY ADS! Like, you can't even get through 1 full round/level without having to watch the ads about 3-12×'s. Side ,complaint as well, it's the same 3 ads--- over and over again. 2) There's a glitch in the game where sometimes you end up playing the same level 2-3×'s in a row. Another glitch is I will put a word in it won't accept it as a word until the very end. So I've spent actual money when I didn't have too.

I like the concept, and it's an attractive game...but... ads after every single level as well as an ad banner at the bottom. It's excessive and annoying. That, in itself, ruins the entire thing. They have all the angles covered too. Ads play right as you finish, so you have to watch them to get the level reward. Switch apps for a second? Here's an ad. Accidentally tap the ad banner and back button out? Here's an ad. Airplane mode? Locked out of everything but the levels themselves. Too much.

It was too heavy on the adverts and the rewards and the "play this offshoot". I deleted it when I started getting sexualused advertising. They also seem to have a fixed exposure contract with Gardenscapes and several match 3 games - the adverts were very boring in presentation and repetitiveness. And I don't know what dictionary they're using, but it isn't the usual grammar and idioms rules. Very frustrating :(

Automatically downloaded out of nowhere on my device and was given a T-Mobile "Device Manager" notification. Yeah don't do that. I've done what I think I can to prevent that but perhaps I'm wrong, anyways I don't care if they got some type of deal or what but don't be downloading stuff on my phone through an app with permissions that I can't turn of that's supposedly there for convenience and maintenance purposes.

I started playing this game years ago before all the ads and events. I came back and realized I would have been better off just not coming back. This game now feels like they are trying to constantly take your money. Crazy amounts of long unavoidable ads popping up. You can pay 10+ dollars to get rid of all ads. Except it doesn't get rid of all ads. Some still exist if you want extra coins or hearts. Portraits are cute but impossible to complete. I have opened 100+ boxes and never finished.
