    Wow, you guys took age of war and managed to make it significantly less fun. That's amazing. But yeah, right from the start this game is a slog. Takes a long time to get resources to send out units, you don't start with all the units unlocked, and the enemy quickly overruns you. If you actually want to have fun playing this, go to newgrounds and look for age of war which is what they ripped off. Age of war is realms better than this.

    So many games force you to watch ads and frequently. However, I don't think this game has ever forced an ad. It's always by choice to speed up your progress a little bit. Which, sure, isn't AWESOME, but it's a free mobile game. They need to monetize somehow. I think this game does a good job at balancing that. Again, I've never watched an ad that I didn't choose to watch. So, for me, 5/5.

    Game is too easy, played for a couple of days got to timeline 15. Needs more and harder levels. I'm only giving two stars, because some ads will trap you where you won't be able to exit out of them after they are done playing. If they can fix that, then the game would be great. Another plus to this game, you can choose to watch ads or not.

    This game is *wonderful* with a very fun gameplay loop, reasonable progression of difficulty, and delightful graphics. I know this sounds like a bot's review, but I promise you it isn't. Also, I forgot to mention there are no forced ads, ever. And when you do watch ads, it isn't to give you something you desperately need to progress in the game, it's just a nice little bonus to have. It is a bit of a bummer that there are only eight different skills, but I get it. Game good, please support. •⁠‿•

    Fun game, no forced ads which is a huge plus. Ad rewards do help you along a lot and are worth watching in some cases, but you can play without ever seeing an ad which makes it 5 stars! If you plan on playing without watching ads it's rather grindy but I personally like grindy games. Wouldn't mind a pass for rewards without ads, but it's not necessary.

    Worst first level, a first level should introduce mechanics and entice the player to continue. Took 30 minutes and 4 ads to be able to complete first level. On top of that food production resets with each evolution which makes no sense and is clearly only there to make the player watch more ads, If you like the concept of this game just go play age of war, they are free, have no ads, and more playable for new players

    Simple game, but the thing is. The exact moment you upgrade to the next age. EVERYTHING just vanishes, and you start from scratch all over again. I grinded my food production at first, thinking it was gonna stay upgraded on later gameplay. Well, i was wrong. All the hours i spent on upgrading it was gone and wasted. Not just that, after you advance levels, you just get beat by another OP enemy over and over again. I like a challenging game, but this is too much for me.

    I love the concept, the art style the and the ways in which to upgrade. But oh boy the game is frustratingly slow AF. I have put hours into this game today cause I'm I'll and can't be bothered doing anything else. It has taken around 2hrs to get to the Romans and beat the farmers to get to their Romans. If the game could progress faster I think it would be more enjoyable. Side note: what is the point in leveling up the bases health? Seems pointless to me
