App is good, but they used a tricky marketing technique after some time. The last updated version made the whole free version pretty limited, hence useless. It was about setting the time of blocking the apps, now its only possible to block for the whole day and that feature is removed from free version. So, yeah a little trick of luring a user in and removing the most important feature and asking to pay for premium. Well, i just download another similar app then. Thanks :)

After enabling accessibility, it worked for a while, but then it randomly stopped blocking anything in my block list. No error messages or obvious permission issues. Just stopped doing its job. Android 11 with Chrome 104. If there was any sort of permission setting that was changed, I would think the app would check for that to alert you if it doesn't have the necessary permissions for it to work.

The app makes exactly what it should: blocks both apps and websites. In my case - the perfect tool for fighting procrastination. Initially it was consnantly asking for a permission, so that blocking was active only by short period of time. It turned out that app was constantly killed by power managment software, so after switching the app into manual mode (makes the automatic app termination impossible) it is working stable without any interruptions (on Huawei).

Nice that it can sync with Chrome extension, but its ability to block access on a per-app basis is broken. It just fails to detect some apps' presence, probably when tagged as system apps. E.g., many UMX phones ship with pre-installed adware (on mine, it's a bogus but non-removable app named "Main"; in other cases, it's been infested versions of legit-seeming apps like "Calendar" or "Voice Recorder"). Have to use another firewall app to deal with it. PS: sync feature seems to need app restart.

Blocksite is terrible and kind of useless. Full of ads, the only possibly useful features (like password protection) are locked behind a paywall. Its so easy to turn on and off that it doesnt really do its job. Also, it the full product is £110 a year! Thats insane. They're trying to convince me to upgrade by saying i have a 'special' deal of £18 a year (still too much) but I don't want to forget and accidentally pay £110 for this rubbish! Load of tosh, don't bother.

Very simple app, does what it has to. Two pet peeves: 1. You can schedule the blocking. But am I scheduling the time when the sites/apps are ALLOWED or the time they are BLOCKED? I had to make multiple tests to be sure. 2. This is something small but the clock is set to be in the US format and it makes me unsure what the app understands when I say 12AM or 12PM. If you had the option to toggle the app to set the clock the way that 90% of the world uses it, that would be great.

I just installed it for 30 minutes, so far the most peaceful 30 minutes of my life being totally free from annoying ads and popups on my screen, after placing the ads and popups generating apps under block list. So far this app works perfect, just the kind of apps capable of effectively blocking popup ads on my cellpbone screen, just what i were looking for. None come closer to what this app perform.

Works fine on my computer, but never worked for me on Android. Okay I trust you on the misunderstanding with the spying, but many sites that I blocked still work on mobile... I don't think this is an accessibility issue, because it blocks MOST sites but not ALL. This is really upsetting, because I really need it to work for every site to overcome my habit of visiting these sites. If one is open then all could be open... Makes no difference really.
